Final Reminder: Join the Hope Builder Challenge Today!

Time is running out! Our Hope Builder challenge ends soon, and we need your help to meet our goal of welcoming 30 new monthly donors by the end of March.

Thanks to our community’s passion and generosity, we have already welcomed 17 incredible Hope Builders this month. Now, we’re looking for just 13 more remarkable supporters like you to help us cross the finish line. Reflecting on the achievements of the past year, our Hope Builders have collectively raised an astounding $237,000, contributing to a grand total of over $1 million through the years.

Imagine the impact you can have when you join this vital group dedicated to driving real, tangible change. Your monthly donation can drive the next wave of breakthroughs in our fight against ME/CFS and Long COVID.

To understand the true value of becoming a Hope Builder, let’s take a moment to learn why Elise, one of our dedicated supporters from Denmark, decided to join this vital group.

Collage featuring images of Elise smiling at the camera, lying down in the back seat of a car, and resting with her dog.

“Hello, my name is Elise, and I live in Denmark. My illness journey has been long and drawn out, but I believe that I began to show symptoms of ME/CFS in 2000. Of course, I didn’t know that my symptoms were related to ME/CFS until, by chance, I watched the film Unrest. So much of what Jennifer experienced seemed to fit my life perfectly. I even enlisted my husband, who works in the medical field, to help research ME/CFS for me. Within days of researching ME/CFS, I knew that this was what I was living with.

I now use a good part of my limited energy to support fellow ME/CFS sufferers through a Danish ME organization and fight for the recognition of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis as a physical illness instead of what the Danish healthcare system believes is a mental illness.

I also do what I can to support research that I know will make a difference for the ME/CFS community. Open Medicine Foundation provides collaborative and open research that strives to make a meaningful and impactful difference for the ME/CFS and Long COVID community.

Because of this, choosing to become a Hope Builder was an easy decision for me. I have spent so many years living with ME/CFS that I want to do whatever I can to make a difference for future generations. I know that my monthly donation will go towards supporting the best research that will provide real answers for our ME/CFS community.“
